If you mean copy all the files off your discs again, then no.
Just start up the new version of ScummVM and point it at the location where you put the game files.

Re: Monitor since video card

I started playing a game and then minimized it to look at a walkthrough and I could not get into firefox again. I had them on my taskbar and right clicked to open but they wouldn't open. I had to restart my computer to get firefox working again. If that keeps happening you may not be able to run bo...

Re: digital camera help?

I would guess the computer needs drivers to be able to read the camera data.
You may be able to download them from the website of the camera's manufacturer.
Any drivers on a disc would be older ones, which might or might not work depending on what version of Windows is installed on the computer.

Re: Monitor since video card

I wonder if there could be a problem with the on/off switch on the monitor.
I have an older monitor and the only way to turn it on is to unplug it and replug it because the switch doesn't work.

Do you mean you turned your monitor on and off 20 times or that you rebooted the PC 20 times?

Re: Monitor since video card

The monitor may be set to preferentially use the VGA port. Check the monitor controls and make sure it's set to use the DVI. If you need more complete instructions, you can download the monitor manual from the Asus website https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/VE198T/HelpDesk_Manual/ On page 3-3 of this ...

Re: Leaving Internet cable modems on all the time?

If I unplugged the Internet cable I'd have no phone.
Old fashioned circuit-switched land line phones are no longer available where I live.

Re: back button doesn't work

I'm not having this problem at Adventuregamers, and have no problem using the back button there. But I'm not using Windows either and that may be the difference.

Re: back button doesn't work

If it's not something in browser history or cache, the only thing I can think of is that your Firefox has gone corrupt. I had Firefox break once. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox didn't work. After uninstalling Firefox, I had to go into C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox and dele...

Re: missing dll

Some people have reported that they had to disable their antivirus before re-installing DirectX in order for the dll to be installed properly.

Re: accept third party cookies

It might depend on which company is hosting Candy Crush versus the other games.
Or maybe they made a mistake and forgot about restricting Candy Crush (don't tell them).

Re: DVD Player

Is your computer a name brand? We might be able to find instructions for how to replace the DVD drive if you have a name brand and model number for your computer. When the computer case uses screws to hold in the DVD drive, it's fairly obvious what to do to remove the DVD drive. Once the screws (and...
