Actually folks - and I feel a bit silly now - all my moaning about the dark screen at times? Emmm - I think it may have been the sun shining in my window - :? I'm replaying today - it's dull outside - and the lighting in the game is just fine. On re-reading my feelings about the end of the game - I ...

Oops - in addition - some of the scenes were very dark at times - (set in a tunnel or nightime) - but I think they were almost too dark at one point. I thought this was a problem with my monitor - but when I reloaded - the scene was brighter again. I took this to be a glitch on my machines' part - b...

Broken Sword: Angel of Death

Well - I didn't stop playing this game until I finished it - and it's a long time since I've done that. Obviously I found it very engaging and very much a return to point and click classics. There are timed sequences - but once you've sorted out the correct plan of movement - you will get through it...

Wow - I'm an addict..... there are only three games from your lists (both of them) that Ihaven't got or played. I've got all the others - although some have still to be played. Beyond Atlantis ll is one of my all time favourites - that wonderful gallop across the sea! That's one I replay fai...

This game is a delight - I first played it years ago and have only recently managed to buy a copy from e-bay. I haven't tried it on the new laptop yet - I suppose I'll have to find some sort of software emulator if I can... The charm of a lot of the game, for mr, is in the expressions of the main ch...

I was lucky only to encounter the cursor problem - and one crash. I found the story introduced elements that were never resolved - you would think they would be important to the story - but they are ignored as you move to the next scene. I can't see ANY reason to include the lepoard - or did I miss ...

I played this around 3 months ago now - and as I read the review - I realised I hadn't remembered a thing about it! I found the storyline engaging enough - I wanted to solve the mystery of what had happened - but it's not one I would replay. I have to agree with most of the comments - especially Mus...

I can see the poll results - but I didn't recall voting -
so I looked at ones I knew I hadn't looked at before - and all of them show the poll results. I tried most of the polls on the page.

Are they possibly closed polls?

Are there any other open polls I could check out?

How does one register a vote in the poll? Or is the poll now closed? I know that when I played Dark Fall with the lights out, headphones on etc - I almost felt as if there were a presence in the house with me - reeeeealy scary! I even stopped playing it when I was in the house alone - I was scaring ...

I have to agree with the reviews here. We need more games like this - and more recently Darkfall has folowed in this brooding atmospheric kind of game. The stories were rather sad - but very involving. Don't let that put you off - they aren't morbid or gory. Although I didn't find it a scary as Dark...

Excellent choices in Bacardi Jims list. The ones I haven't played are ones I haven't been able to get a hold of (Obsidian is one of them) - byt the Neverhood is an off the wall delight! I loved my wee putt putt car! I love the Atlantis series (the first three) - I know the last one - also known as B...
