Re: The Recipe Exchange.

Thanks for that Melia, we don't often get piled with strawberries, however they do grow up here somewhere. Once someone gave us a whole case of them and most of them were wasted. I can buy dry ice at Gaspro, so if I ever am gifted again, I will try this.

Re: The Recipe Exchange.

So that is the little green basket they package the berries in in the store, that must be about a pint. Over here priced like they are gold though, might as well use the frozen.

Re: The Recipe Exchange.

Nope didn't try the homemade dressing yet, no affordable mangos over there. But my daughter here has some in her fridge, so I may help myself. What can I substitute for the red wine vinegar, that is pretty pricey also. The salad is just so pretty looking with the maroon, green and red, then the blui...

Re: Microsoft Virtual PC 2007

Can you sticky it Draclvr, or does that have to be done by an Admin, I sure wouldn't know how. I think it should be done though.

Re: Microsoft Virtual PC 2007

I don't know if I will ever get around to using this, but I did save the link. I don't have old old games, but some like Mystery of the Nautilus and Myst Exile that probably won't play on XP. I started them on ME, but then switched my computers to XP. I do have windows 95 and 98 legal cd's stuffed a...

Re: The Recipe Exchange.

I did my corned beef in the slow cooker this year, it came out fantastic. Fork tender but didn't fall to shreds when sliced. I was going to try the recipe with a can of beer, but couldn't find any beer when I started it this morning.

I would get a new oven Tichelle, the newer ones don't even have the bottom element exposed, at least my Maytag oven doesn't. Hmm, wonder if the towel tip would work on a rectangular cake, I hate when the center is so much higher the the sides.

Good for you Katsmom, I played Amber on an old Windows 98 laptop and the sound was very scratchy. I plugged in a pair of earphones and the sound was so much better.

I think I might give it a try tonight if I can find some decently priced fresh fish. This sounds like something that would go well, trouble is only three of us like the veggies so it might last forever. But then it sounds like it would cook down into a sauce nicely. I have been known to do that with...

I would like the recipe, I made something similiar once, no yellow squash but it had fresh basil in it.
