Re: Diablo

I just got out of the game after an hour or so of play. Oh, yeah, I'm so lovin' that "save every few minutes!" I've died about forty-eleven times, of course. But I did finally make level 8, so it's getting a bit easier. I keep having to go back and buy health and mana, so am still using an...

Diablo

Just started a game of Diablo. I've spent over a year with Diablo II and the Lords of Destruction expansion pack, but decided I wanted to get into the original game. It says something about a game released to be played on 98SE that it is still available in a "Warchest" with its sequel in 2...

Re: Crysis

I got a new ViewSonic 22" widescreen last fall. My 6 year old 17 inch LCD was just fine, but my 85 year old mom has so many problems with dry eyes that I gave it to her. So I was forced to get this gorgeous new monitor. It has a setting which automatically changed the aspect from widescreen to ...

Re: Crysis

Crysis is definitely a FPS game. Normally not my style either. I tend to run to the RPGs. But Crysis was Game of the Year in 2008 - or was it 2007 - and is just about the most graphically intensive game out there right now. I built a computer in February and have been dying to put my new GeForce GTX...

Re: Crysis

What I really like about this new computer is that I can play this game and the GTX temps stay way down low. One of my issues on the old computer with the 7600GT was the temps. That computer was just not made to dissipate heat from a card like that. Hope to see you sharing some of the Dark Room with...

Crysis

Well, I'm finally getting to put that new Geforce GTX 260 video card through its paces with my grandson's Crysis game. I put all the settings to maximum and played for a couple of hours tonight. What a treat to play something this graphically intensive without a single issue. I put XP Pro on this ne...

Re: Left for Dead

But I won't dare until I get much better at not shooting my fellow survivors! I think I've finally gotten the hang of knocking back the "Boomers" before I shoot them. If they are too close, they puke green stuff all over you which attracts a zombie horde. Doesn't this sound like good, clea...

Left for Dead

I've been in the mood for something like a good zombie war, so I grabbed this game last week. I usually only have a few consecutive hours of gaming late on a Saturday night, so couldn't wait to load it up. I finally got so disgusted with trying to get the Steam account to work, I ranted and went to ...

Re: Computer point & Click Games

Oh, yes, Diablo II. Jude got me hooked on this game some time ago. If you want a little vampire fun, Vampire Redemption is an older point and click RPG. If you REALLY want to get into a new RPG, The Witcher is just an incredibly good game. You can make it point and click or mouse and keyboard. It ne...

Oh, yum! I love those breakfast casseroles.

Oh, yes, Sophie, that site has wonderful recipes. I love the personal stories about them at the beginning. She mentions her dad a lot.

Re: The Recipe Exchange.

How cool is that! A lot of times, I don't even peel my potatoes for mashed ones - especially when I make them with roasted garlic. But sometimes, I do want them peeled and I will definitely try this. I saw this trick in the daily recipes I get on my Google home page. How to soften cold butter quickly

Re: A Vampyre Story Review

OR, you could simply borrow mine! I sent it to an internet friend in St. Louis last week. Start saving some pennies because this one is worth it... Or, just buy it and hang on to it until you get that new Mac.
