Re: Diablo

 Sometimes after every monster kill or two! I hate to lose my hard-earned progress... Finally made it through the gazillions of enemies on level 13 - only to find no tome or ancient book! This is the second quest I've not gotten (the Blind one was the other). I don't mind slaying monsters j...

Re: Diablo

Well, I've made it down to Level 13 where there are approximately 2,000 monsters guarding something I need to get to! Sheesh! This game is so addictive... I had re-learn point and click though!

Re: Diablo

What a great tip! I looked all over for a chest like you have in DII. I will definitely be stockpiling in town. Of course, I'm playing the female Rogue this time.. I love my female characters.

Jude the Victor - I like that!

Re: Diablo

Yes, I think it's Tristram in Diablo II. Can't remember the Scottish merchant guy's name either and I just got out of the game a little while ago. Yup, Cain is his good ole familiar self too. And, yes, I've been patronizing the spell merchant quite heavily!

Re: Diablo

I just got out of the game after an hour or so of play. Oh, yeah, I'm so lovin' that "save every few minutes!" I've died about forty-eleven times, of course. But I did finally make level 8, so it's getting a bit easier. I keep having to go back and buy health and mana, so am still using an...

Diablo

Just started a game of Diablo. I've spent over a year with Diablo II and the Lords of Destruction expansion pack, but decided I wanted to get into the original game. It says something about a game released to be played on 98SE that it is still available in a "Warchest" with its sequel in 2...

Re: Crysis

I got a new ViewSonic 22" widescreen last fall. My 6 year old 17 inch LCD was just fine, but my 85 year old mom has so many problems with dry eyes that I gave it to her. So I was forced to get this gorgeous new monitor. It has a setting which automatically changed the aspect from widescreen to ...

Re: Crysis

Crysis is definitely a FPS game. Normally not my style either. I tend to run to the RPGs. But Crysis was Game of the Year in 2008 - or was it 2007 - and is just about the most graphically intensive game out there right now. I built a computer in February and have been dying to put my new GeForce GTX...

Re: Crysis

What I really like about this new computer is that I can play this game and the GTX temps stay way down low. One of my issues on the old computer with the 7600GT was the temps. That computer was just not made to dissipate heat from a card like that. Hope to see you sharing some of the Dark Room with...

Crysis

Well, I'm finally getting to put that new Geforce GTX 260 video card through its paces with my grandson's Crysis game. I put all the settings to maximum and played for a couple of hours tonight. What a treat to play something this graphically intensive without a single issue. I put XP Pro on this ne...

Re: Left for Dead

But I won't dare until I get much better at not shooting my fellow survivors! I think I've finally gotten the hang of knocking back the "Boomers" before I shoot them. If they are too close, they puke green stuff all over you which attracts a zombie horde. Doesn't this sound like good, clea...
