Re: The Recipe Exchange.

Kitchen Bouquet is a browning sauce made of caramel coloring and a base of onions, carrots, garlic and an bunch of other sutff. It's the same thing as Maggie in Europe. It's mostly for coloring and is not a critical ingredient in this stew. Here's a definition I found: A browning and seasoning sauce...

Re: Cleopatra: Riddle Of The Tomb Review

We have a saying that something "fits to a T." Don't ask me where it comes from, but it means something fits perfectly!

I'm sure your French brain makes much more sense than our English ones!

Re: Diamonds in the Rough SPOILERS

I agree with Darleen. Don't let negative comments stop you from developing new games! That sort of goes with the territory. Everyone has different ideas about what they want in a game. However, don't stop incorporating controversial subjects into games just because some people don't care for them. T...

Re: Diamonds in the Rough Review

Danyboy, I know I helped review and translate some of the "French brain" parts of your review. But your review made me want to play this game and (thanks to Angelfire who sent me hers!) I started it today. This is the first adventure game I've enjoyed this much in a very long time and I th...

Re: Diamonds in the Rough SPOILERS

Alkis, there are some who prefer to avoid these subjects. And just as an aside, Dar is a huge supporter of indie game developers and I'm sure did not mean to be negative about the game itself. I am not one of those who avoid difficult subjects. I recently finished my second play of The Witcher which...

Re: Diamonds in the Rough SPOILERS

Oh dear, Alkis, I went to the website to order the game and found it would be almost $32 in US currency! Yikes! I'd forgotten about how low the dollar had gotten. I think I'll wait until things turn around a bit here...

Re: Diamonds in the Rough SPOILERS

Oh, goodness, floridagal! You didn't create any kind of furor at all. Like I said in my earlier post, we can't all like each and every game. I've played several that just were not to my taste. And as you said, to each his own opinion! I thank you for making the post as it has piqued my curiosity abo...
