No RB a large adventure game written by Benoît Sokal who wrote the Syberia games and Amerzone. Came out around 2007 I think.

Re: What Casual Games Are You Playing Right Now, Continued

Just finished Paradise and didn't really enjoy it. Crazy depressing really. Got totally lost on that ship at the end. Wandered around like a lost soul for ages but eventually found my way to the end. Beautiful graphics but the story didn't appeal to me. Started Unwritten Tales again as a bi...

Check the BF Forum for the game too RB. I sometimes find the answers there. Good luck.

Chocolate followed by full cream ice-cream - those are my vices! Fortunately I don't have a problem eating them!!! I buy a couple of Bar-Ones each week to eat when the urge takes me. As I don't have milk nor sugar in my tea or coffee sometimes one needs a bit of sugar. :) That's my excuse anyway!!

Re: Favorite videos

You did? Well done! My second attempt was better than my first but still left a lot to be desired. Afraid I am not so good with run/jump co-ordination but loved the while experience anyway. :)

Re: Favorite videos

Found this on Stumble yesterday and thought I would share. So very clever. Part game, part advert and such fun that I played it over again!
Try it - you will not be disappointed. :)

Re: The Book of Unwritten Tales--A Review

Just loved this game. In fact it is one of the few I have kept on my pc for future play. The raindance had me and I resorted to the walkthrough for that, but the rest I found absolutely entralling and the characters were great. Had no problems with subtitles but then, again, I had mine switched off....

Have just finished the Maternity Ward and just loved the different takes on puzzles. That lock involving the eyes was hilarious. And each 'delivery' had me ROFL I'm afraid! Thought it all hysterical. Now for the pus which doesn't sound like so much fun.

Re: What Casual Games Are You Playing Right Now, Continued

I normally ignore the red squiggly lines too but this time there were two in my first sentence or whatever so I took note. Ah well - c'est la vie. :) Just this very moment finished Bluebeard's castle RB and enjoyed it too except for your complaint and with my monitor, some very dark HOG scenes. That...

Re: What Casual Games Are You Playing Right Now, Continued

Do yourself a favour RB - buy the Book! It was so special that it is one of the few games I intend to play again sometime. Everything about it brought a smile - the characters, the graphics, the plot, the humour. Everything was a delight. :) <oop - sorry about the English spelling of humor and favor...

Coincidence RB - that is what I am just about to start. Just finished Book of Unwritten Tales and it was so fantastic. Guess anything I play after that will be a comedown.
Nice to see you back Stella!

Pink Glove Dance. This one is dated 2009 but I always watch it when I want a lift in spirits. They have since videoed Pink Dance 2 last year but, although good, I still prefer the original. Have any of you seen it? All in aid of Breast Cancer - and the fact that it is filmed in a hospital and featur...

Re: Movies Watched in 2009

Has anyone watched District 9 - a movie made in South Africa and set in Soweto? It has had very good reviews and won awards (scored 90 on the Rotten Tomatoes tomatormeter and their concensus was "Technically brilliant and emotionally wrenching, District 9 has action, imagination, and all the el...
