Hauntings Of Mystery Manor

Postby danyboy » Fri Aug 19, 2005 10:43 pm

Hi guys,

Just started the game and I'm having fun, graphics are nice and the pic on the cd look great, I already delivered few ghosts and got scared in the dinning room when I touched something, I wasn't expected it so I jumped off my chair LOL. More later.

Hi guys,

I finished the game yesterday and it was fun, I still have to play the other ending. Hope to have a sequel very soon. Each ghost story were sad and interesting and a lot of sins were done. In the game the manor look great and mysterious. We can almost feel those ghosts around us when we're playing. Bravo Ghostlady! keep up the good work.

Ghostwolf, you certainly should order it, we need to encourage independent developpers.

I want a tower room, I want a tower room.

Ti'chelle sings to herself as she skips around in the library.

This is good news. No pressure or anything. :D

I just finished playing Hauntings of Mystery Manor and what a pleasant surprise. First let me say that I was not expecting much since it was this Independent Developers first try at creating a game. I was wrong. This game had a very good story, had a good pace, and had very good game play. Ran flawlessly and came to a conclusion at the end that didn’t leave me hanging. What more do we, as Adventure game players want? True the game is short compared to the big production games but somehow I came away feeling quite content with what I had just accomplished. Which is more that I can say for some of the bigger games lately.
Kudos to this young developer! I am curious, she dedicated Hauntings Of Mystery Manor to her lovely daughter, but she cast her daughter as woman who poisoned her husband? Hmmmm I wonder if her son in law knows about this.

And one final note. The house, depicted in the game, was called Mystery Manor, it was a beautiful place with many rooms to explore. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a place like this to go to? A place to gather and talk about Adventure Games. A place to meet and make new friends. A place where people from all over the world can come and visit. A place to have fun, to laugh and to share.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were such a Place? Image
