Post by mbday630 » Wed Jul 31, 2019 5:49 am

I don't know if any of you would be interested in reading a little story about my Grandmother, but, someone has put pen to paper and wrote a little story about her. https://siouxlander.blogspot.com/2019/0 ... 0mv5bZJyiM

and this is a story about her husband, my grandfather. https://siouxlander.blogspot.com/2019/0 ... s.html?m=1

That is SO interesting! Especially since I am from that area! I grew up in a little town about 7 miles from the South Dakota border and 3 miles from the Minnesota border. Sioux County is the county south of us and there is a huge Dutch Reformed population there.

I also found this in the Siouxlander blog. https://siouxlander.blogspot.com/
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.
