Saved Games Database

The Mystery Manor Saved Games Database is here. There are currently over 200 saves and that is almost entirely for "adventure" games. I've made the save specific to the actual area where the save is needed, as opposed to just uploading a bunch of saves that you would have to plow through. There is also a screenshot to help identify if this is the exact spot you need the save for.

For additional help, there is also another Saved Games Database: Looks very helpful, many adventure games are included:

You saved my bacon again. I got one saved game from here for Broken Sword 4 (which really helped) and then I was stuck again because George wouldn't move. I read your hints and I used the control button with the down arrow key and he finally moved. Thanks for the hints and the saved game.

Yep, I got stuck there too and was furious. To come that far and get stuck over a bug like that. I searched the internet for a long time and found that fix. So happy that you were able to use it and get past that part. :)

I'm afraid I've got a quibble. Thought I'd try a replay of Next Life Reprobates. Then I arrived at the Yellow Ball puzzle and find it beyond my abilities these days. So I downloaded the "save" from the Attic but although it says it starts AFTER the puzzle, it actually starts at the beginning of it. Help?

Oh, no! Let me do some checking.
EDIT: Well, it definitely says it is a save game AFTER the puzzle. Are you positive you have renamed the save so it isn't the same as any of your existing saves? The downloaded save is numbered 005. If you go into your saved games folder, make sure there isn't already an 005 in there.

I'll give it another try.

Ok, renamed it 001 to follow sequentially, but it still starts at the same place. Think I'm going to have to give up here.

I notice that it was Danyboy who uploaded the saved game. But it was 11 years ago and he and his wife are on vacation in Viet Nam right now!

Are you a member at Gameboomers? If so, you might think about posting there. MaG has tons of saves, but she doesn't want to make them available publicly. But if you ask for one and she has it, Marian will sent it to you.

Thanks, Draclvr! I'll do that. Honestly, talk about a way to spoil a good game! This particular puzzle would be better suited to Playstation or similar. BTW, lucky DanyBoy! My own son just spent the winter in Cambodia.

Are you playing the game from the original disk?

No, it's a downloaded version.

Aha... that may be the problem. Depending on where you downloaded it from, the saved game which is from the original disk game may not be compatible.
