Just finished playing Resurrection - New Mexico CE. A good game but waaaay too many HOs. Buy hey - why complain when I only paid $6.99 for it! Hmmmm - Now what shall I play next.............

I uninstalled and reinstalled Dark Tales: The Premature Burial as it was not saving my progress from the previous evening. I think I now know why it was not saving my previous game. Avast, for some strange reason was running it through its sandbox, and I believe that it why it was throwing me back to the same point in the game every evening because it loses data when run this way. I have now let the game run normally, so let's see what happens!

Avast likes to be a little too aggressive with the sandbox which is why I dumped it and went to Microsoft Security Essentials. Hope it works now - I liked that game!

It's the first time Avast has done this to me with a BFG game but yes, I am at long last proceeding in the game, after playing the same section four times over! And yes, I am indeed loving this game.

I played a few levels of Cradles of Rome 2, yesterday. I've also been playing the Mac app (also has phone versions) of Elder Sign: Omens, a lot! I seem to be addicted to both the boardgame version and the Mac version, although they do differ somewhat.

I've started Brink of Conscious, a game from the Holiday sales. A weirdo has stolen my girlfriend and it's up to me to save her. :jocolor:

I am playing Shattered Minds: Masquerade CE, also from one of the BFG sales, and I am really really enjoying it. Good puzzles and not many HOs.

Just finished Paradise and didn't really enjoy it. Crazy depressing really. Got totally lost on that ship at the end. Wandered around like a lost soul for ages but eventually found my way to the end. Beautiful graphics but the story didn't appeal to me. Started Unwritten Tales again as a bit of light relief in between playing Paradise and finding it as charming and challenging as it was not so long ago. Heavens I cannot remember what I did at the beginning of the saga!!! Rosaboobie you had better get this game. It is absolutely one of the best in years. Lighthearted and fun - just what you need to play at this time in your life. Go for it!!! Guaranteed entertainment. :)

Yes, I really will have to get it Val. Is Paradise a casual game?

No RB a large adventure game written by Benoît Sokal who wrote the Syberia games and Amerzone. Came out around 2007 I think.

We're following the same CE path, RB. I liked both of those but especially the weirdness of Weird Park. I just finished the main story of Hallowed Legends: Templar and am about to start the bonus section.

I liked Weird Park also.

Next sale, or just need a game to play, get Brink of Conscious. It is a very long game, will hold your interest, and has very few hidden object scenes. :jocolor:

I just finished Dark Dimensions City of Fog. By and large it was a good game with excellent puzzles, but I hit a glitch where one of the puzzles (angels/demons) game just solved itself after one move! Apparently this has happened to others on the Big Fish forum. I was looking forward to solving it too! If you want to glitch on an HO scene, that's one thing....but not one of the puzzles!!!! :)
