Sounds like a game I might be interested in, Ray. I actually looked at it and thought it was just another HOG.

I enjoyed all the Ravenhurst games too.

House of Brass pretty good you say? I'm off to check it out. Thanks! :)

Just finished Small Town Terrors: Livingston and being an adventure gamer 1st, I found this game fun to play because it was on the adv. lite side, great story, spooky at times, great puzzles, some to hard for me to solve and had to click on the Skip button (then again, I am a wimp), and as for the HOs, yes there are a lot but not nearly as many as Pure HO games and not as hard to find to the point one quits playing the game out of frustration and sore eyes/headaches.
And yes I agree as to the ending lending itself to a Sequel and I really hope they do make a sequel to this great game.

I just finished playing: Shattered Minds: Masquerade: Good game, repayable, lot of HOs but not overly difficult to find, and the screen where you read the Objects needed is clear and easy to read and most importantly, the Hint button refresh fairly quick in Casual mode which helps to skip the harder to find Objects.
Puzzles at least for me varied from easy to very hard (did I mention Skip button in previous reviews, yes, well in came in handy in a few of the puzzles for me in this game also.)
A decent story and very good graphics moved this game along quickly for me, finished this one in 6 hours which is quick for me but then again I hit the Skip and Hint buttons a few times along the way or I would still be at it. Maybe on the next play I will refrain hitting the Skip button so much………. Maybe

Re: Grim Tales: The Bride
Just a little warning if you haven’t played this game yet and intend to:
There is still a small glitch in the game and after visiting the forum this is the repeated comment I saw

“I was having the same problem in the basement with the machine. I put the lever in when I found it then the oil. You can't do that. You find the lever before you find the oil. Don't put the lever in. Continue on until you get the oil. When you put the oil on the machine, then the lever, it will automatically start.”

And this is the very same problem I just encountered, so it looks like this flaw hasn’t been remedied as of yet.

I have written an Email to BF asking them for either a refund or a game credit since I do not want to A) Restart the game and B) Always have to be aware when replaying this game to be on lookout for this pitfall, not fun.

So it looks like it’s not only the Star puzzle that has a problem.

I am anxious to hear if this happened to others in this Forum.

I've started in on "Phantasmat" - gameplay of mostly hidden objects or Match 3 isn't really me, but I'll finish it to see where the story goes.

I liked Phantasmat because it had some good puzzles in it and an interesting story.

It is quite atmospheric, and the puzzles have become less trivial as I've gone along. One that makes me keep playing even though I need to get up in the morning for work!

Just finished playing Dark Dimensions: Wax Beauty - a very enjoyable game.

At the BFG sale last weekend I bought mumble mumble, no sorry, I just can't admit to how many games I bought!

While I'm very proud of the restraint you show towards purchasing your games, Big Fish Loves Me Best! :P
