I'm playing Fright right now and I like it. Would be a great bargain at sale prices.

Shadow Wolf Mysteries and Haunted Manor Painted Beauties would be great bargin games. I got to test Sea of Lies, looked very good, so I'm grabbing that one and Rite of Passage Hide & Seek.

I bought 10 games during this sale...and I have so many installed that I haven't even played yet. Now that I'm retired I have more time to play. Easing back into full adventures as well. I always read the reviews on the games. I like games with good puzzles!

Congrats on your retirement, JK! It's a lovely feeling having all those game hours ahead of you, isn't it?

I bought 2 games in the sale, Rite of Passage: Child of the Forest (Mad Head Games) and Dark Parables: Ballad of Rapunzel (Blue Tea Games). I also downloaded Fright, but it wouldn't play because they've made the game for Mac 10.7-10.9. Of course I have 10.6.8. I hope this is not going to be an on-going trend because I do not have the time nor inclination to upgrade right now.

On that note, does anyone know which company made Fright? I might want to put a bug in their ears.

The company that made Fright was Lesta.

Thanks, Stella. I don't remember any other games by them.

Thank you, Lady K! I'm absolutely loving retirement thus far. I'm totally settled in my new home and my Mom (who is 87) moved in with me last week, so we're feeling a bit like the Golden Girls. :)

I'm definitely enjoying playing games. I started oil painting again, but that's coming a bit harder. It's amazing how much I've forgotten after not touching a brush since 1993. I'm having to get reacquainted with my brushes again...which brush I used to use to get this effect or to achieve this amount of blending, etc. Also having to be careful not to muddy my colors as I'm mixing to create distance in the painting. It's coming a lot slower than I thought it would. Not quite like riding a bike!
