You can download a variety of Casual Games from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/r ... =979455011

How do you change a link to just a name, such as Amazon??

The bad news is this download sale is only for the U.S.

We don't have an automatic one here. I do it manually. This is what you type:

[url=paste the url here]Amazon[\url] with the exception that the slash in front of url in the last set of brackets is a FORWARD slash. I made a backwards slash so it would be wrong - that way you could see it. I also highlighted the entire thing and selected a color. I normally just highlight the Amazon part with a color to make it stand out from the rest of the post. I also highlighted and changed the font size to Large.

Oops - Sorry, LK.

Is there no way I can "fool" Amazon into thinking I am in the U.S.??

I wish Rosaboobie... I look through Amazon a lot for stuff, and it won't post most of it to me. And the few things they will send cost a bundle for postage. Why is there no Amazon AU!!!

Well, UK has Amazon but its only for music downloads at the moment.

I contacted Amazon and they told me its all to do with U.S. laws and such, and that any downloads have to be paid for with a U.S. debit or credit card. So why can us folks from all around the world download from BFG, Playrix, Sandlot etc etc etc, and we can pay in any currency we want and from any country we want??? I just dont understand. Why dont they simply use PayPal?

Anyone in U.S. want to buy me these games?? :drunken: :santa: :drunken:

And it doesn't sound like it's illegal or anything. All they said was the "purchase" has to be made with a U.S. credit card. What the purchaser does with the game credit is their business.

I could to it too... Hawka has had internet orders sent to me and then I forward them to her to bypass some shipping goofiness. I have indulged in several games at this sale, so thank you for letting us know about it. One I'm having particular fun with is Iceland 2 where you hop your Mr. Penguin around getting fish for Mrs. Penguin. Of course, there are obstacles and enemies to deal with. Good silly fun - sort of like the Zombie Bowling I got from them.

Thanks for the offer, folks, but Amazon tell me it just wont work. I asked them why it worked on all other sites such as BFG, Playrix, etc etc, but they ignored that question.

Anyway, Amazon Support was very nice and very quick.....

I can't imagine why they say it won't work, what if it was a gift? I would be willing to try one, just to see what happens.

You might ask how to "gift" a download.

I just sent them a "question email" on how would I do this. I am sure that people would want to make a gift of a Kindle download also, same kind of thing isn't it? I will let you know after I hear from them, since I haven't even purchased any Amazon downloads for myself, I don't know how their system works.

I have purchased several. It's pretty much like BFG in that after you purchase, you get a download screen. You have to get their download manager like BFG too. Then you either download and install or go to your library to redownload a game. I've also gotten some books from them for my Kindle for PC.
