Thanks to RosaB, I'm playing Escape from Ravenhearst for the 2nd or 3rd time. All I wanted to do was play it long enough to see if I could help her on the chest puzzle, but of course got sucked in. This is one really good game even with the morphing objects.

That's great, Diat. I am still not sure that I like the morphing scenes - makes my eyes go all squiffy!

I take it you solved the puzzle then, RB?

Yes, I did solve it, Diat, with the help of someone on the BFG Forum. Yet another Duh moment in my life!

I've started playing "Age of Enigma: The Secret of the Sixth Ghost" - and I've now qualified for a Felix the Fish plush toy apparently!

(I tend to deactivate my BFG membership when there aren't games I really want to play.)

I also have my Felix the Fish, although I have not seen it yet - It is sitting in Orkney waiting for me!

I was able to find three that were on my "wait for a sale" list. I think that with some of the games released this past 6 months especially, the bar has been raised significantly on what I consider a quality game. I always read the reviews at Gamezebo, and look for comments on the quality of the puzzles. Currently I'm playing Dreamland...actually replaying as the extended release portion was inaccessible until I started a new profile. At any rate, this is a great game with excellent puzzles and story! Casual games are all I have time to play at present, so I don't want to waste my time on games that are just a bunch of HO's with boring and trite puzzles and story.

Amazing isn't it, Rosy, how quickly we acquire so many games at Big Fish?!

One day I am going to work out exactly how much I have "donated" to them over the years................. Or maybe it's best not to know!

Here, here JK! I don't mind the occasional HO's but when they come every minute that is when I call it a day. Actually if the game is exciting, the occasional HO gives me a chance to breathe deeply and relax!! :) But when that is almost all the game consists of, it's a no-no for me.

Playing Grim Tales: The Legacy and just love it! It is quite a large casual game and seems to be going on and on which I love. HO's seldom and while not really true to the spooky storyline, are fairly easy. Puzzles are puzzling and sometimes really different. Cannot believe that a casual game is so 'hefty' in size and I for one will be continuing to look out for Elephant Games. A good buy in my opinion.

This is the Collectors' Edition, is it, Val?

Yes RB - haven't reached the bonus section yet. But the main game is certainly worth it in my humble opinion! :) So something to wait for.
