I didn't either... when I went to BoobBox and logged it.. I already am a member... I searched the title and it shows it and offers to redirect you to different places if you want to purchase or Bookmarks... I am assuming..that when I bookmarked it they will notify me..

I didn't either! They very seldom offer books more than once as freebies. But I have seen one or two come back for $.99.

I was so pleased to find I could download "The Mystery Box" and convert it to epub on Calibre. Looking forward to reading it shortly.

Wonderful! I will be curious to see what you think of it. Was it still a freebie?

It was free but I actually downloaded it the same day you mentioned it here. Just hadn't got around to trying to convert it until now.

No, Winfrey. Even when these are free, they are still recorded in my Kindle Library as a "purchased" book. You don't get a "file." When you download, it is downloaded as a book.

To loan a book: ????? maybe

Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
Select the Actions button for the title that you want to loan, and then select Loan this title. If Loan this title is not an option, lending is not available for that title.
Enter the recipient's email address and an optional message. ...
Click Send now.

Oh, yes... you can definitely loan some books. I've done that before. You just can't send them as a "file."

EDIT: I just checked and this one is indeed available as a loan. I just sent it to you.
