Ghostlady in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
Ghostlady in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
Please keep Ghostlady and all those in Texas in the US who are in the path of this devastating hurricane in your thoughts. Some areas are looking at 35 to 40 inches of rain in addition to a very high storm surge.

Does anyone know if she's evacuated?
Re: Ghostlady in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
Will be sending positive thoughts your way GL!! Hope you are keeping safe and warm. There was no indication that she would be evacuating, Diat. Her earlier Facebook post mentioned she had stocked up on water, canned food etc. so hopefully she is ok.

wow, from the pictures, it looks like a mess out there. My daughter said that in Florida it has rained like crazy and the water is getting into her garage. Crazy weather this year.

Re: Ghostlady in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
My brother lives in Houston, but aside from an amazing amount of rain, he didn't get any flooding in his area. One of my nephews also lives in the town, but he was away from home when the storm hit and hasn't been able to get back to see if there was any damage. He does live north of the dams, so flooding shouldn't be a problem for him either.
Into each life some rain must fall, but this is getting ridiculous!
Re: Ghostlady in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
Wish we'd hear from GhostLady. I have a second cousin in Houston, living quite near one of the dams and reservoirs. She emailed us this morning that they were dry although the water has been rising. She said they had enough food but supermarkets were bare and could take some while to restock. At least they've still got power it would seem if she can email. Strange how the flooding has affected so many areas but not others.
